After 10 years of experience and 10,000+ free sessions for the students of Baltimore City College High School, we made the decision to expand our work to serve school communities nationwide.
To date, our peer tutoring work has resulted in an increase in both tutor and student grade point averages, improved attendance, and increased graduation rates.
Not only has our work yielded a measurable academic impact, but it has also markedly improved the social-emotional well being of our students, transforming fixed mindsets into growth mindsets and increasing academic confidence in both tutors and clients.
On May 18th, 2023, we won the highly competitive and coveted Johns Hopkins Social Innovation Lab Cohort prize for our community work as social innovators and entrepreneurs. This was a big win in support of our mission to create youth-led peer tutoring centers in urban public schools nationwide. (Click Here to View)
We're currently working with schools and school districts to develop peer tutoring programs that bridge skill gaps in critical areas such as literacy and math. We hosted Woodlawn High School for our most recent peer tutoring conference as seen here.
The way to help us in our mission to help urban areas create and run peer tutoring centers is by donating.
